Skills for schools

The Frontiers Group has proven experience in providing your school with a fantastic day, half day or hour which all your students will not only enjoy but also learn a great deal of essential life skills for their future.

We will equip your students with the skills to succeed in the future - whatever their ambitions

Personal Transferable skills are extremely relevant and important to individuals of all ages. Skills such as team-working, leadership, presentation and interview skills are highly topical and promoted in the press and by the government.

You are never too young to learn how to work as part of team, to manage your time or to present an idea. In fact since PTS are developed through experience the earlier you begin to think about them the more time you have to practice, evaluate and improve.

We will use experiential learning to allow them to appreciate behavioural types, diffuse a bomb to learn how to interact in a team, solve puzzles to bring out the leader inside and make a film to improve their interview skills.

Join the elite band of forward thinking schools and book a Frontiers Group event at your school.

Sixth-form focus

At Frontiers we run events for sixth formers to help them to develop their PTS. We have chosen to focus on these year groups because of the particular challenges and opportunities that arise at this stage. Below is some of the feedback from students who have been on our courses.

Students who are considering university will need to begin the difficult transition from learning in school to studying at university. For example greater independence at university means a need for a greater grasp of skills such as organisation, time management and teamwork. For those students heading straight for the workplace there will be a host of different skills that they need to demonstrate, professionalism, presentation skills and interview skills to name just a few.

At this exciting juncture we want to enable students to make the most of all opportunities available to them by equipping them with both an awareness of PTS and the tools to develop their abilities in the different skills.

We can run a range of different events in sixth form schools and colleges. For full details please download our latest brochure.
